Walking stilts, juggling, balancing plates, or children Bulgarians and refugees at the Carnival Lab

On August 20, 2017, children of Bulgarians and refugees had the opportunity to practice their skills in a carnival laboratory of professional actors and mimes from the WAR Theater Art-Culture Foundation and learn to walk on stilts, juggle, To balance plates and what else. So much fun and fun in the park! On returning to the bus, they were asking when we would lead them again! :-)

Thank you to Caritas Sofia - Anna for the wonderful partnership!

Since 2016, Multicultural Team has been developing a cultural and educational program for Bulgarian children and foreigners from all migrant communities (including refugees). Children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 18 have the opportunity to learn in a safe informal environment, to improve their knowledge and skills while having fun and to create friendships and shared memories together. The goal is to overcome social barriers, support the two-way process of integration and build strong bridges between children to live together in a community free of prejudice, discrimination and xenophobia. Children are usually the first in the family to learn the language of the host society and to serve as mediators of their parents.

In 2017, the program was developed with the financial support of 1000 km of Balkan Charity Challenge, TELUS International Europe and private donors.
